BILETA hosts an annual conference in March/April each year. It is hosted by a law school and has taken place in a variety of locations: England & Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland, The Netherlands and Malta.

BILETA 2016 CFP: Now closed [return]
The 2016 BILETA (the British and Irish Law, Education and Technology Association,conference will be hosted by the University of Hertfordshire School of Law on 11-12 April 2016.

In addition, BILETA 2016 includes two exciting awards for PhD students:

BILETA PhD award

BILETA will award 100 to the winning postgraduate conference paper.
To be eligible for the prize, a full paper must be submitted by the 25 March 2016. Papers should be e-mailed to papers@bileta2016.co.uk.

Google PhD award

PhD students are invited to submit their papers and defend them in a separate PhD workshop to be considered for the Google Awards to the best postgraduate paper.
To be eligible for the prize an abstract must be submitted by 11 January 2016 and a full paper must be submitted by the 11 March 2016. Papers should be e-mailed to info@bileta2016.co.uk.
Please note that papers may be submitted for both awards, notwithstanding the deadlines for individual awards.
